Listening to Marina and the Diamonds' "Primadonna" full blast on my ipod while baking, put me in a very happy mood, despite the less-than-friendly weather.
Just a few minutes later, my heavenly creation was done!
Ahhh...the sweet smell of mouthwatering chocolate chunk cookies emanating from the oven, wafted through the air and filled the entire house with all its glory.
The hypnotic scent immediately transported me to another world...I was in cookie paradise.
I snapped out of my airy-fairy state soon as I saw the holy mess I made in the kitchen.
Looking at the aftermath of my baking, I was amazed at how much of a mess I can make on my own in just a matter of minutes. It's as if I've brought the storm inside the house!
Nevertheless, the cookies turned out as great as I expected them to be. The cleaning up made it all worthwhile.
